Heart Or Mind?

Sometimes we wish our heart would listen to our mind, and other times we wish our mind could understand our heart.

A result from the war between my heart and mind; just another poem:

I thought you overcame that fear,
I thought you've learnt a lot throughout the years,
I thought you'd waste no more tears,
Simply by the things that you hear.

I thought you've grown braver,
I thought you've become stronger,
I thought trials have made you tougher,
Yet why are you crying over something so mere?

I thought you'd put your words into action,
I thought you were determined to finish this mission,
But I guess those thoughts are only assumptions.
Because it seems that your will has faded,
Just as the rainbows evanescence.

Tell me, honestly,
What made your heart shatter into pieces?
What striked you so hard till you lost your traces?

Could it be because of what he has uttered,
Or maybe the words she's spoken?
Could it be that you've created distance between you and your Creator,
And that your faith has somewhat shaken?

I'm pleading you to stop.
Stop dawdling and wake up.
Stop reminiscing your mistakes, instead learn from them,
And realize that it's never too late to return to Him.

So regain your strength; this, I beg you.
Because I know there'so much more to do,
This duty as a daie, you have to fulfill,
By that you'll find peace and happiness by Allah's will.

Hopefully one day you'll be someone much better,
And yes i'm talking to you; that girl in the mirror.
